What is LAP?

The Life Awareness Program offers the techniques to start taking control over our lives and our destiny. Practices as Yoga, Qigong, Pranayama, mindfulness and meditation can deeply change your state of being and life. This is a program created to inspire and guide people in developing a content, healthy and connected life. ​ This site is to help you exercise clear consciousness, focus and liberation from negative states of mind  to live a full  and conscious life.

In 10 weeks you can change your life, you can change your habit patterns in your actions, your thoughts and emotions. As we will see in this program, with your thoughts and emotions you create a great part of your reality. So learn how to use your mind and to become aware of your great reality creating power and you can take control over your destiny.

You have the power, you have the ability and the opportunity  to do this. However, you have either not taken your time yet to do this or you have never learned how to do this. If you want to set yourself free, you will have to invest some time into this.

Life has a great ocean of potentials. We are the captain of our ship. In order to set his or her destination and to sail where he/she wants to sail,we have to maintain our vessel in good condition, we need to know the workings of his ship, the workings of the tide, the current and the weather etc. So too must we know the workings of our mind in order to create and live life fully. If we want to learn we have to pay attention, and attention, awareness or consciousness is something that, most of our lives, we lack. If we want to feel the connection with the moment, Life, God, The Creator, the NOW, or whatever you want to call it, we have to become sensitive and conscious . Awake. We are a part of creation like creation is a part of us. when we awake we can harmoniously flow and create with creation itself.

We are conscious, sensitive and creative beings that have the power and the right to decide our state of mind. But if we are unaware of the workings of our minds and live life with an unconscious mind, we will be victim of all the negative states our thoughts and actions produce . We can train our minds to become more aware, more awake, more conscious about our minds and the reality it produces. We can train our body, this vessel with which we experience life, to become healthy, flexible and relaxed, to fully enjoy and experience life.

Realize that your actions have reactions on how reality forms around you, how you perceive reality and how reality reacts on you. You are responsible for your actions and responsible for how you deal with the way people, events or feeling present them to you.
Through right insight and consciousness of our thoughts , actions and sensations we can obtain a peaceful state of mind , free from fear and with the force to flow and create.
Through the right practice we can choose our reality .

As long as you remain unconscious about your own mind and the things it creates and how it ‘lets’ you experience the world around you, you are being lived by your own unconscious mind and the situations you have created for yourself.
Seize that power that righteously belongs to YOU and not to some negative ideas you may carry inside your head telling you how you should feel , what you should do and how you should do it.
Become conscious , conscious of the workings of your mind and body . Conscious of your fears, desires, aversions and the whole mechanic of YOU. The mind is something very powerful ,but if you don’t know how to handle it, it can cause a great deal of suffering for yourself and others .
Through right insight and consciousness of our thoughts , actions and sensations we can obtain a peaceful state of mind , free from fear and with the force to flow and create.
How we perceive the world is through our senses , our mind makes a reality of it , this is something we can manipulate.
Through the right practice we can choose our reality .

Michael pranayama

The Life Awareness Project is founded by Michaël Bijker. He has helped many people from all over the world finding their true purpose in life. He has been studying the workings of the mind and body since the age of 14 and is now dedicated to serve humanity to help people become more awake, healthy and truly self realized beings….

His approach to yoga is to encourage individual self study and self practice with the aim of improving ones self discipline, insight and wisdom that comes from within him/herself.

He is a certified 800hr YA teacher with a yoga therapy certification from the Paramanand Institute of Yoga Science & Research in Indore, India. He currently lives in Portugal where he teaches the Life Awareness techniques, yoga and meditation on the Pure Flow Motions yoga and surf retreats in Portugal and MEKA Yoga retreats.
